    About Morgan P.

Hello! I am a recent transplant from NYC where I have been working professionally in the theatre for the past few years. I hold a BFA from The Boston Conservatory and have been trained in a number of vocal techniques. I have sung everything from traditional broadway as a featured soloist with the Boston Pops, to Wicked, to country! Actively living and working in NYC has really allowed me an upper-hand in understanding what is fundamentally required to be a respected, working singer, and I hope to share that understanding and knowledge with you. *** Lesson Details *** I believe that every voice is different. Therefore, there isn't exactly a standard procedure I can attest to when teaching. I believe that it is contingent upon the individual voice. However, I do believe everyone is entitled to a safe and comfortable working environment. You should always be excited about the work you are doing and I will always be there to continuously guide you in a progressive, healthy way while maintaining my belief that you get out of singing what you put into it. A few things I will help you with whether you are a beginner, or a broadway star: -Breathing (control, support) -Placement -Increasing Range -Vocal Health -Proper Technique -Vocal Restoration -The do's and don'ts of singing *** Studio Equipment *** Lessons take place in the living room. There is a grand piano and great acoustics! Parents can sit in on the lessons. My home is in a residential area with plenty of parking. *** Specialties *** Acting: Meisner, Uta Hagen, trained in classical styles as well as contemporary.
