Ballet with Morgan S.

I am currently employed by Nevada Ballet; performing soloist and corps roles in ballet and contemporary work. Prior to joining Nevada Ballet I danced for Ballet of Sibiu, Romania and Portland Ballet Company of Maine, where I was featured in several roles. My dance education includes a magna cum laude BFA dance degree, with a concentration in Ballet from Point Park University. I graduated from Portland Ballet’s CORPS pre-professional high school program. I studied multiple styles of dance at several studios in the southern Maine area and attended summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre, Festival Ballet of Providence, Point Park University, and Boston Conservatory. I am an ABT® Certified teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum and am working towards Levels 4&5 certification. I am also certified to teach Pilates mat through Pilates Academy International. I have over fifteen years experience teaching a range of styles of dance to all abilities and ages of students. My expertise includes Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Pilates, Tap, Wedding Dances, dance for gymnasts, and Choreography.
