    Learn piano fast from an expert Pianist/Singer/Songwriter

    I am a classically trained pianist and performer in addition to spending the last 20 years composing and performing alternative/rock music. One of the single most important aspects of learning piano is learning proper technique, as this will help tremendously as the student advances to learn more difficult music. After your initial assessment, where we discuss your goals and expectations of lessons, I will map out a plan of action for how I will help you to achieve those goals. My plan may include any or all of the following: technical exercises, sight reading, memorization exercises, ear training, and music theory. You will have clear directions every lesson on what needs to be practiced or completed before the next lesson time.

    Hi! My name is Morgan! I have over 18 years of teaching experience. I love teaching beginners and intermediate students of all ages and inspiring students to grow beyond what they imagined. I believe nothing is impossible and it is never too late to learn. You will succeed in lessons with me if you complete your assignments, make time to practice at home, and come prepared for your lesson. I am here to encourage you when you don't want to practice or feel like giving up, but getting better takes persistence and work. If you stick with music, I believe that it will be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have.

    Morgan has done a great job and has provided helpful feedback for me and let me know of things I need to work on befor the next lesson. she is also very patient, personable and easy with which to work.
