Hi! My name is Morgan and I love teaching Music, Knitting, and Crocheting to all ages and skill levels.
In addition to my music education and experience, I am also a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (#12725) and Certified Personal Trainer who specializes in Weight Management. Health and Fitness is a passion of mine and therefore I am also seeking to help people achieve their personal goals. You may also schedule a Health Coaching, Weight Loss, or Personal Training Lesson through this site.

Music
I have been teaching piano and drums for over 15 years and have experience teaching a wide variety of ages and abilities from 5 years old to 91 years old. I believe it's never too late to enjoy learning music and experience the many benefits of music education.

As a classical piano student, beginning lessons myself at age 5, I went on to receive my Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2007 from UNCG in piano. My education plus 30 years of playing and performing has provided me with the knowledge and experience to instruct regarding correct technique, music theory, and interpretation that will make you or your child stand out from the crowd.

Additionally, I am a singer/songwriter with over 60 published songs mostly in the pop/rock genre. My unique experience with both classical and alternative/pop/rock genres enables me to be of assistance to more students who are looking to grow and learn their instrument. I ask that every student of mine communicate their goals and musical style preferences with me right from the beginning, as one of my top priorities is keeping lessons exciting and fun. Lessons are customized to meet each student's individual needs.

Knitting and Crocheting Lessons
I have been crocheting since age 5 and starting knitting while I was in college studying music at UNCG. It has been a fun way over the years to relax and also create some beautiful things to wear. I know a wide variety of stitches and techniques and have experience reading and working with complex patterns. I make use of 2 cameras during my lessons so that you can more easily see the techniques I am demonstrating. Feel free to message me with any questions you have about any of the lessons I offer!

Weight Loss/Health Coaching/Personal Training
My Weight Loss and Health Coaching Services are very similar in that you will also receive health Coaching by choosing a Weight Loss lesson. I operate by the belief that your body needs the proper fuel to work properly and I find that many who are overweight actually don’t eat enough. As a person who has been overweight myself, I know from first hand experience how to manage weight in a healthy way, NOT from placing heavy restrictions on your diet or following a difficult plan.

My personal training is offered either in person or online. In person gives you the benefit of using me as a spotter and I would recommend this option for those who are new to exercise. Please feel free to ask me further about my offerings or experience. I am happy to help!
