Piano with Morgan H.

I attended graduate school at Butler University and specialized in Piano Pedagogy. I have eight years of teaching experience and strive to cultivate confident musicians and bestow a lifelong love of music making. I have 16 years of classical piano training. I also have performed a wide variety of venues for churches, weddings, and restaurants. These performances included playing with other instrumentalists such as vocalists and string players. I truly believe that every student has an opportunity to succeed. My students can expect to improve their piano technique and expression on a weekly basis. I provide effective practice strategies to be performed by each student. I aim to provide a well-rounded music education. Students can explore any genre of their preference. I regularly teach jazz, classical, contemporary, alternative, Disney, and popular children songs. Other aspects include sight reading, practice guidance, technique, aural and written music theory, sight playing, improvisation, movement, and composition. I aspire to help students of all skill levels to become self-assured and skillful musicians!
