My name is Morgan and I am a clarinetist and music educator. I recently moved to Atlanta from Houston, Texas. While in Texas I taught middle school band for 7 years and performed clarinet with the Houston Civic Symphony and Houston Symphonic Band. Many of my students are successful making honor band and earn top ratings at solo and ensemble.
I have a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance and a Bachelor of Music Education from Florida State University. In addition to playing and teaching clarinet, I love spending time with my husband and 1 year old twins. I look forward to meeting you!

Jan 2011Begun in 1920 as the Texas Band Teachers Association, the Texas Music Educators Association is an organization of over 10,000 school music educators dedicated to promoting excellence in music education. TMEA is comprised of five divisions: Band, Orchestra, Vocal, Elementary and College. On behalf of its members and Texas schoolchildren, TMEA carefully monitors the actions of all state decision-making bodies on issues affecting fine arts instruction in Texas. In addition to many member benefits, TMEA offers professional development opportunities for its members with Region workshops and especially with its annual Clinic/Convention. TMEA supports the future of music education by offering scholarships to music education majors and by sponsoring the Texas Future Music Educators, an organization through which high school students interested in careers in music education learn more about what to expect in their college education and future careers.

Write a ReviewMorgan came to our home to provide clarinet lessons for our daughter who was a 5th grader at the time. She is an excellent teacher.
Morgan is reliable, patient, and always encouraging. At the end of each lesson, they played a duet together which was always my favorite part to listen to. Our daughter learned so much from Morgan and it definitely helped her prepare to play in the school band. We highly recommend her!
Ms. Fargo was the Band director at my middle school for several years. We worked together on many projects as I was the orchestra director next door. She is one of the best teachers anyone could have. She understands music, and pedagogy at the highest level. She has a wonderful personality and work well with children and adults alike. You would be lucky to have studied with Ms. Fargo
