Piano with Monique G.

Hi there! My name is Monique, and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching since 2010 and have loved helping my students build confidence through music every step of the way! In 2009, I graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have experience teaching in a large classroom environment and in a one-on-one setting (both online and in person.) My experience playing piano has been over the course of 15 years, with a mix of classical training and contemporary songwriting. I have had classical recitals and have also performed original songs at shows. This Fall, I will be attending Berklee College of Music's Online School, where I will be pursuing a second bachelor's degree in songwriting. It is my goal to combine the knowledge and skills I gain from Berklee with my teaching methods, then share with my students! My piano lessons are focused on helping beginner students build a strong foundation in music. At any age, my lessons will include a warm and positive environment with creative teaching methods! I hope to see you in the classroom soon!
