I just returned to the US after 2.5 years of living abroad and teaching English to non-native speakers. I have experience tutoring ages 5-50 and a B.S. in Psychology which provides with a lot of knowledge on learning styles and methods. I'm fascinated by language and the way people communicate and hence, absolutely love teaching English. I have learned foreign languages myself, so I know from experience what it requires and how rewarding it is. I love tutoring others in order to help them reach a specific goal or increase their confidence; It's fun for me to spend time with others in general and especially when I am able to help them gain a better understanding of something that's hard for them to grasp or master. I know it can be hard to have lessons in addition to normal work/school hours and that's why it's important and fun for me to create engaging lessons with a relaxed atmosphere. I always make sure to allow the student to share what they'd like to focus on and listen to their thoughts or ideas about our lessons.
