I sing my heart out. I slam the guitar. I turn my feelings into songs. I help other people make music.
Lover of the beach.
Swedish native in California.
My story began in my neighbors’ backyard in the deep woods of southern Sweden where we would lip sync to Spice Girls in the late 90s. I would kick my foot in the air, as the true Sporty Spice I was. Or was trying to be.
A few years later, when I was 12, I discovered a worn out, leather hard case covered with stickers laying around in my house. I opened it and discovered this big chunk of wood with four strings on it.
Disappointment arose when I tried strumming it and it didn’t really make any noise. However, turned out we had a similar looking thing at my school and my teacher showed me how to plug it in to a speaker. Noise: check. Since then I told everyone that I was gonna be a rockstar when I grow up.
I spent my teenage years playing in bands and eventually moved on to the guitar. I played actively all over Sweden but told everyone that I was gonna move to LA to further my career. And in 2012 that dream became reality.
Since then I’ve been fortunate enough in this rollercoaster called the music industry/life to combine my two biggest passions; music and traveling. I have toured all over the US, the UK, played Warped Tour, US Air Force Bases in the Middle East and Japan and even cruise ships in the Caribbean (my favorite place on earth), all with several different bands. Somewhere along the way I also started passing on my knowledge and teaching music, with a contemporary pop/rock approach and focus on getting more girls into music.
When I’m not performing or teaching, I write as much music as I possibly can. I am signed to BMG's music library both as an artist and songwriter.
I am looking forward to rocking with you! :)

Moa is a great teacher. She really understands how to bring out the best in people.
I've been talking lessons with Moa for the past month and I've already learned a lot and can tell my voice is getting stronger. She's a great instructor.
Great first lesson! Moa is very cool and patient! Can't wait for the next one.
Excellent instructor! I'm just getting started and I can't wait for more lessons.
Moa is a dynamic, friendly and passionate teacher who my kids really respond to. We are lucky to have found her.
Moa is awesome. Can't believe how well my children responded to her and how much they absorbed in just their first lesson.
I've been taking lessons with Moa for a few weeks now & she has been incredible. In such a short amount of time I have improved significantly as she is hard on me & forces me to do things the right way. Always friendly & fun, the lessons are exactly what I have needed.
Not only does she know what she is talking about, how to effectively instruct, but she also is active in the music industry herself.
Very happy with my lessons & I look forward to learning more & improving with Moa as my teacher
My daughters first lesson was amazing.
She was very pleased and left confident that this was a great match for her! Thanks Moa!
Awesome, as always!
Great teacher, thank you!
Moa is everything I would want in a teacher. She takes into considerations my interests when planning my lessons, is incredibly patient, laid back and easy going, fun and an awesome guitar player.
I would recommend Moa to ANYONE wishing to learn the guitar without hesitation.
It would be great if there was an option to leave more than five stars, Moa's teaching is 10. I can't wait to take my next lesson with her.
Just had my first lesson with Moa and it was a fantastic start. Moa has a great
ear, she can hear where I needed work and where I'm good at my voice. I'm excited that I can take what I learn and practice simply on my own. I'm looking forward till our next lessons where my voice will keep getting strong, all thanks to Moa!
Hi!this is Rosa Yoshida from japan!!!!In february I took vocal lesson with Moa ,it was fantastic experience with her!!!she is so frendly and professional teacher!!!!thank you so much ,Moaaaaa!!!!!
Moa is an excellent singing teacher. She is very skilled, kind, patient and accommodating. Her location is great and central and easily accessible. Highly recommend, Moa!
moa deals with me so that makes her the perfect teacher in my book :-)
I only had one lesson, but it was really helpful and Moa is very knowledgeable. I am looking forward to more sessions in the future.
Personable, talented, time efficient, prompt and communicative. I'm so incredibly happy we found Moa and she keeps exceeding expectations.
My 8 yr old daughter looks forward to her lessons and complains that they aren't longer. Also we really love that Moa encourages singing development while engaging the guitar.
The other instructors we tried were good, but they still are nowhere near the teaching prowess and energy of Moa.
Moa takes the time to understand where you want to go as a vocalist. She's knowledgeable, cheerful, patient and understanding. She's a talented, working rock musician in her own right, so she knows first hand what you will be striving toward. You really can't go wrong taking lessons from her.+ Read More
quite an auspicious launch!
I had taken singing lessons before contacting Moa but I am glad I reached out to her. My interest is in singing heavy metal and Moa is the best instructor I could find as she sings rock. She understands my goals (and understands that rock isn't just screaming) and works with me on finding my weak points and helps me strengthen them. I feel a lot more confident with my voice and I can't wait to keep improving!
Moa is such a sweet and generous person I would recommend her to anyone who has an interest in rock music! (or just anyone with an interest in music for that matter)
Super talented girl! She teaches you very good technics to sing better :)
Knowledgeable and adaptable and fun
Moa is so sweet! She's super fun and has helped me so much. I've only taken five lessons so far with her and I already hear a change in my voice. I look forward to my lessons. They are always so exciting!
So much fun and Moa is so talented! Can't wait for next week!
Moa is a sweetheart that truly believes in her students and WANTS to see them go to that next level and wants them to succeed. She was more excited than I was when I hit a note that I couldn't previously. I signed up for singing but she also helped with my writing struggles. She's REAL and she's HONEST. Lessons with Moa are pretty much the highlight of my week. For once I feel like I have someone that truly believes in me. I can open up to her without feeling judged -- she's very relateable fun and energetic.+ Read More
