About Missy D.
I am a NY based singer, actor, teaching artist, and dog-mom. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not from the Midwest, but a native Long Islander.
I holds a BFA from Hofstra University where I performed opposite Oscar nominee Talia Shire, and Golden Globe nominee Susan Sullivan. I left school after her junior year to star as "Louise" in the national tour of Gypsy. She later went back to finish her degree.
Since then I have performed in theaters all over the country, appeared on television and in films, and originated the role of "Niccolo Macciavelli" in the NYC premiere of The Battles.
I am the founder of The Actor Inc., and an avid animal lover.
