Dr. Mimi Zhang is an experienced educator and has taught students ranging from age three to adult for more than ten years. Her students successfully passed ABRSM exams at various levels. Dr. Zhang is currently teaching at the Bergen Academy of Music. She was the teaching artist at Yale School of Music. Dr. Zhang was awarded a full scholarship to attend Manhattan School of Music. She received her Master of Music degree from Yale School of Music with a full scholarship, and her Doctor of Musical Arts degree with a graduate fellowship award. Dr.Zhang has performed with many leading orchestras internationally. She has also performed in Europe and South Africa. In the US, she has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the Los Angeles Music Center. in 2015, Dr. Zhang was a special guest at the Sinovision channel’s New York Lounge television show. She has also performed at the Met Gala in NYC.
