Hi! I'm a multi-instrumentalist/composer living in Orange County and working as a session musician and composer in LA. I recently graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA -Music, emphasis in Composition/Jazz Performance. I have been teaching since 2008, including extensive experience with special needs children. I offer instruction at any level in: Performance (10 years experience): Upright Bass, Electric Bass, Acoustic Guitar, and Electric Guitar in all styles. This also includes basic music theory instruction. A jazz curriculum is also offered. Composition/Arranging - The history of composition and music theory as it applies to composition, as well as contemporary techniques in the classical and jazz idioms, film scoring, and popular styles. Includes a comprehensive overview of techniques for arrangement and orchestration. Music Theory - An in-depth study of music theory as it applies to analysis, composition, and improvisation. A jazz curriculum is also offered.
