My stage name is Mikel. I am an NYC based singer/songwriter/producer/music video director. I also coach in artist development as well as social media engineering for growth. I have been licensed by the following companies: Wendy's, Rock Band 3, Free Credit Score, Renew Life, Song of the Year Contest, Jeep, AcneFree, Ritani Diamonds and Likeable Media. I produced my own album "PERFECT" that was released on all major online distributors in 2013. From that album my song "Back to You" was chosen for the Rock Band 3 video game. I also produced various artists at Cove City Sound Studios. There I recorded upwards of 20-30 demos for various Major Labels (Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Atlantic Records, Warner Music Group, EMI) Working with an electro-house production team, Space Plant, created "Watering the Dance" which became the official theme song for "The Shiggle" a dance created by famous dancer Phillip Chbeeb. Currently aside from releasing a few cover videos on Instagram (25k followers) I have been working with legends such as Jimmy Greco, John Seigler and Russ Desalvo on both a feature artist named Jackie Nese and multiple jingles for Pokémon and other children's television series over seas. I teach my clients in my comfortable home teaching studio in Tribeca, New York. I work with singers, acoustic/electric guitarists as well as songwriters/producers/composers in a wide age range, assorted skill levels with a variety of musical goals.
