Hello there all! I'm from the Detroit area, studied Musical Theatre and Voice at Wayne State University with an acting/marketing internship at Meadow Brook Theatre and have been working within the theatre world a majority of my life. I also work within New York and Chicago areas since I moved to NY recently in pursuit of the career. I have been honored to work with many different directors and artistic directors as well as casting teams to see what people specifically look for within auditions, shows, and vocal/acting techniques. I would like to be able to work with you to succeed personally or professionally, whether it's for a community production or Broadway! You're probably asking yourself why should I work with this guy? What makes him different? One simple reason - I'm here to watch you just be you, reminding you of the strengths you already carry or possess that you may be unsure of or want to work with. To take risks, open doors, and explore things maybe you haven't looked at due to stereotype or type cast or even your own thoughts. But anything is possible. Take it from a guy who sang Into The Unknown every night for a professional touring gig. Push yourself, and you'll be surprised what you find. Don't take no for an answer and remember, singing these songs are for you as they SHOULD BE YOU. It's your passion - you love it so show it. Show you.

As a trained actor but a novice to auditioning for musical theatre productions, Mike was a lifesaver to work with. I always felt insecure about not knowing how to read music, yet Mike was able to simplify and translate the intimidating material. He also helped bring out my inner self to the work. Will always go to him if I find myself in a musical pickle! Of course, what do you expect from a teacher who carries the music in his soul wherever he goes...

There have been so many times Mike has helped me with my vocals. Not only for audition prep, but even for times when I felt like I was struggling with my vocals during a show. The great thing about Mike is that he makes you feel so comfortable. Not only does he know exactly what he’s talking about, he is an excellent teacher and is incredibly encouraging as well. Any time I need an instructor, someone to help me prepare for an audition, or someone to give me feedback on a performance, he is the person I turn to.

I have worked side by side with Mike in workshops across the country for kids aged middle school to high school. Not only does Mike have great advice for students to help with their vocal skills, but he has a vast knowledge of skills to enhance performance for the stage as well! He is kind, and often describes things in a way that is easy to understand!
