I'm the Director of Music Technology and Composition at Albright College, where I teach courses in Recording, Production, Songwriting, Arranging, and Music Theory. Previously, I taught as a Visiting Professor of Media Studies at Pitzer College, a Lecturer in the UCLA Music Industry program, and a Lecturer in Music at Pomona College. I hold degrees in Music Education, Music, and Musicology, and I have experience teaching private lessons in recording, production, drum set, piano, songwriting, and music theory. I've taught diverse student populations with a vast range of skillsets from beginning kindergarten students to college music majors, and I develop my teaching approach based first and foremost on the student's interests.
From Boston to Los Angeles and Philadelphia, I've worked as a DJ and electronic music producer, creating music for video games, beats for rappers, and sound design for virtual reality art installations.
