We will mix each lesson in a way where we will learn some nuts and bolts of guitar playing (basic mechanics, strengthening exercises, music theory 101, etc.), then learn pieces of music that you like to listen to where those particular nuts and bolts are applied. This way, you can have fun playing your favorite songs as you become a better guitar player!

I not only teach the mechanics and knowledge necessary to play and write music on the guitar, but I also do my best to share the joy and outlet for creative expression that the instrument has brought me for 15 years. Students learn more quickly when they are having fun with the education process. That is why we will learn techniques and theory that allow you to better perform and understand the music that YOU want to play.
