Pioneer Union School District

I teach General Music to kindergarten through 5th grade at Pioneer Elementary and Walt Tyler Elementary, and Band to grades 6 through 8 at Mountain Creek Middle School.

Woodside Elementary

I was the long term substitute for the jazz band, teaching jazz concepts and rehearsing their concert music for about 2 months. I also substituted for the general teacher a handful of times (usually grades k-2) and the band teacher (6th grade band and 7/8th grade band).

Monroe Middle School

I was awarded a fellowship through the SJSU music education program. The position was 8 hours a week working in the band classroom. The director provided me with many opportunities to teach the whole class as well as with individuals and sections.

Green Oaks Elementary

I ran warm ups for the large ensemble and worked with a small group of advanced students in the school's after school music program.
