Miho Sasaki has been teaching private lessons since 2009 and is currently available to teach lessons at home, at studio, and online. Miho has helped students to figure what they want and what do they need to do for their goals.
She was born in Akita, Japan and grew up in Tokyo. While growing up in Tokyo she became interested in music and began studying the piano in Yamaha music school when she was 5 years old. After high school she was exposed to the sounds of jazz and was immediately drawn to it. She decided to pursue a career as a jazz pianist. She began to study privately over the next two years and afterwards began her career as a professional jazz pianist. Since 2009, she has taught in music school in Tokyo and she had about 40 students of private lesson. She now resides in New York and attends SUNY at Purchase College and some of her mentors include Todd Coolman, Pete Malinverni, and Donald Vega. She was the recipient of a prestigious scholarship given by the Rotary Foundation.
As an expert in her field, Miho looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals. Miho's teaching style is fun-loving and practical.
