It will be easier to speak to someone in Spanish once you know all the manners and traditions because that basically relates to understand any Spanish spoken in different countries around the world. 
Once you learned to speak Spanish, if you are interested, I’ll also teach you some culture and literature so you’ll enrich your mind with the Spanish culture.
