Algebra can be a really nice topic! The only thing needed is to be shown how to do the equations! Math, in general, is about learning to look at things in new ways, and by doing so one may learn how to talk about the same old things in some new and interesting ways. I actually have knowledge of algebra and calculus. Therefore, I would be able to help bridge the two together and go over the multiple topics and tools in both. Because this is a somewhat more detailed endeavor, I would try to provide multiple examples either ahead of time or prepare them in advance to better supplement anyone looking for more outlets.
About Miguel F.

I am a first-generation college student and I hold both an associate’s of science in the general sciences and a bachelor's of science in Neuroscience & Cognitive Science with a thematic neurobiological emphasis, and my Master's of Science in Biomedical Engineering. My coursework largely consists of Matlab modeling, neurogenetics, cognitive science, biology, physics, chemistry, ethics, and writing composition. Despite being more familiar with science and engineering, I took classes in the arts, and communications, as well. As far back as middle school, I wanted to learn and do so much. Originally, I wanted to join Cirque du Soleil, specifically their show Kurios, and I wanted to major in aerospace and mechanical engineering to become a pilot to test out and build my ideas for flight engines and propulsion systems. I was an Ambassador for Aunt Rita's & the AIDS Walk Foundation of Phoenix, a guest experience member at the Arizona Science Center, and a private tutor for a Matlab coding course. I wanted to begin my work as a tutor through Takelessons years ago, but I waited until I received my second degree to greatly practice my skills in education and leadership, and to acquire more knowledge.

My son is a sophomore student that has a final in chemistry. I contacted Miguel and he scheduled a lesson right away on the same day(usually you need to schedule a couples days before to give to the teacher time to be prepared). My son took 3 lessons during the week to and Miguel explained him all the difficult material and unswerd his questions. Afterwards when I contacted the teacher during the lessons he unswerd and text me right away. If you are looking a good teacher, definitely Miguel is!
