I'm an illustrator and portrait artist with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and Illustration, and a minor concentration in Art History. I am also the son of a retired military parent whom I had the privelage to live and travel in foreign countries including Japan and Italy. I have been exposed to various cultures and gained artistic inspiration from the best they had to offer from their respective art worlds, from Japanese pop culture to European sensibilities. I currently work as a portrait artist at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virginia. I am looking to possibly continue my education in the Humanities in a university and publish essays and art books. I am currently working on a fantasy/romance web comic to publish as well. My expertise involves drawing, illustration, watercolor painting, and portrait drawing, as well as pastel. I can teach students how to master the fundamentals, and help them understand the philosophy of art in the process. I am a big believer in the importance of creativity, be it therapeutic or recreational. Art will either give you a sense of purpose or help you see the world differently. As a professional working to integrate my passion of art and learning, I hope to bring joy into the learning process as much as I can instill wisdom and a new skill set for you to master!
