I am a caring and qualified music professional with over 35 years of teaching experience and over 45 years of training and performing. I have the ability to interact well with students and bring joy, love and advancement in music by creating a positive learning environment. I have been trained by top ranking international musicians and focus on proper technique and musicality. I love performing. As a child, I grew up performing on the violin and piano. But as I grew, I expanded my passion for performing to voice and acting. I began teaching violin at age 11 and have continued to teach violin, orchestra, piano, voice and acting throughout the years. As a violinist, I have won many competitions and been able to perform all over the country. I have also taught at music camps and music schools throughout the country. I have taught orchestra classes, coached chamber groups, and soloists. Additionally, I have performed as an actor/singer throughout the country both in community/regional theater and professional theater. I have taught children’s singing and performing groups, acting classes, and musical theater workshops. I love performing and welcome the opportunity to share my love of the arts with my students through teaching.
