Excel in Pre-Algebra with the help of an engineer with years of math tutoring experience
I have tutored students in a variety of math courses, going from basic Algebra up to Calculus 2. With a good foundation, any topic is manageable. Homework is key and my students have to complete it before our lesson. Before any of my lessons, I ask the student to send me an outline of the topics they would like to go over and I prepare accordingly.

Hi! My name is Michelle, and I am a math tutor. At Brookdale Community College, I tutored students in a variety of college math courses, ranging from basic algebra up to Calculus 2. Afterward, I tutored at Mathnasium, before exclusively tutoring here at Takelessons. Michelle did a great job helping me with my Pre-Calc final. I could not have done so well without her help...her skills were just what I needed for the few weeks before the final and it made all the difference. She was flexible and worked with my schedule.

My daughter is a freshman in HS. She loves math and is in honors accelerated math but was struggling with her teacher’s style. My daughter has now had 3 sessions with Michelle. Michelle is very knowledgeable, prepared, patient, and great at explaining in a style kg daughter is comfortable with. We’re now signed up for additional multiple sessions!
