Hi! My name is Michelle and I math tutor and piano teacher. I also help Russian natives learn English. I am a math tutor at Brookdale Community College. At Brookdale I tutor students in a variety of college math courses, going from basic algebra up to Calculus 3. As for my piano lessons, my piano students are expected to improve on a weekly basis. In my lessons, besides playing compositions, students will also be taught piano theory and technique. I have mentored students of all ages and can customize a lesson accordingly. I have experience with performing and composing music. I am also fluent in Russian and specialize in teaching English to Russian natives. I prepare Russian speakers for the U.S. Citizenship test. Before any of my lessons I ask the student to send me an outline of the topics they would like to go over and I prepare accordingly. This way my time and their time is used efficiently.
