As a student of music for 25 years and a Bachelors of Music in Music Education I have an extensive knowledge of music theory. As a music teacher and as a personal tutor I have another 10 years of experience. So, whether you have never read music before or whether you are a continuing learner lessons will be individualized to meet your personal goals.

Music has been an integral part of my life. I have 8 years of teaching experience between teaching in public schools as well as privately. I have a Bachelors of Music in Music Education. I learned how to play my first instrument starting 24 years ago and haven't stopped since. Teaching and music are my life's passions and I always have fun doing it. I have performed in ensembles of every kind and every genre. Over he years I have continued to pick up instruments and have worked on mastering each one. It is a lifelong journey. No matter whether you are a beginner or have been playing for years come have some have fun and let's make some music!

Keep in mind that we've only had one lesson so far. But my initial impression is that Michelle is very knowledgeable, very personable and very professional. I would certainly recommend her.

We had taken lessons with her for my 10 year old son, who has a very small attention span. Michelle was patient and kind, took the time to walk him through cleaning, and different notes he had to nail down. We had a rough time with the school instruction, and Michelle provided exactly what he needed outside of the school. She intstilled a confidence in him with the trumpet that we had never seen before. I am so thankful for her and her patience with him. What a great experience!
