The Academy Choirs are the children's choirs at UMKC. There are 4 choirs, with ages spanning from pre-K through 12th grade.

I started teaching lessons as an undergraduate student while still in my teens (1989). I began teaching as a career in 1994, first as Allen Studios, and then becoming McIntire Studios when I married in 1997.
