Piano with Michelle J.

Michelle is a voice and piano teacher with over 12 years of experience in the private sector. She has an intense passion for the musical journey that each individual takes on and caters her lessons to fit each student. Let's face it, we're not all the same, so why should our journey be the same. Along with her passion, her credentials include a BA in Voice from UW-Whitewater, WI. And for further development, she has taken part in Muiskgarten certifications (intro music classes), recording technology classes at MMI (Madison Media Institute), Songwriting workshops at Berkley School of Music in Boston, MA, and is a member of the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association). She insists that her students take part in the local chapter auditions for the WMTA (Wisconsin Music Teachers Association) every year. By doing this, she prepares them for future performances and gives them confidence in their music ability. She also holds 1 - 2 recitals for her students yearly which gives the students ample time to show off their new skills to the family!
