I will use my experiences from 11 years of teaching private lessons for piano and flute and 8 years in a full-time music classroom to create lessons that suit your age, personality, and level of experience. I will mix traditional methods with technology and games to teach a wide range of musical concepts and skills. It is my goal to help you learn to become a musician beyond simply playing your chosen instrument.

I took some piano lessons as a child, but hadn't played in 10 years when I took some lessons from Michelle. She was always on time, personable, friendly, and enthusiastic, and did a great job tailoring her instructions to me based on what I already knew, both about playing the piano and in terms of general musical knowledge. Now I play keys in a band, and it's all thanks to Michelle helping me get started again!
