Creative, compassionate, and motivating teacher with 6 years of experience teaching voice and music theory for all ages, styles, and levels. My philosophy as an instructor is to equip students with reliable, unique ways to achieve their vocal goals by integrating music with their body. Raising body awareness allows students to identify and address issues such as physical tension and helps develop healthy habits that support good vocal and physical health both inside and out of the music room. With a strong background in yoga, sports, stage movement/dance and Alexander Technique, I work with students to find individualized solutions that fit their body and will let them thrive while singing the music they love.

Working with Michele is incredible. She is passionate, knowledgeable, and truly wants to help her students succeed. I could easily see an improvement in my singing ability within a couple lessons with her and I was shocked. My only regret is that I wish I had started working with Michele sooner.

Michele has been an INCREDIBLE asset in the development of my voice. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Michele while my voice was still in the “learning stages”, and beyond. She’s patient, enthusiastic, and most importantly, she is willing to meet students wherever they are in their musical journey! Virtual lessons or in person—I can’t recommend Michele highly enough.

Michele has been teaching me for almost a year and a half both in person and online and my singing has come leaps and bounds from when I started! Michele is consistently helpful, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable, and has a genuine passion for teaching voice. She really tailors her lessons to your interests and needs. She is also super flexible and accommodating! I could not recommend Michele more. Without her I would not be the singer or musician I am today!

I’ve been taking voice lessons with Michele for almost a year now. She has helped me to gain confidence in my vocal ability, range, and interpretation of songs. Through helping me create a more solid foundation for my voice, I believe I have the tools to sing over a plethora of musical styles (Musical Theatre, Operetta, Classical, etc.) Michele’s dedication & belief in her students, eagerness for them to succeed, and reach new heights in their singing voices is commendable! The energy & spirit that she exudes in her voice lessons, whether in-person or online, is contagious which leaves you feeling elated and determined to continue practicing your singing!
