Opera Voice with Michaela O.

My name is Michaela Olson! I'm a classically trained soubrette (coloratura soprano without the upper extension) from Lee University. I sing in a local Barbershop chorus, the Scenic City Chorus, and two long distance quartets, Presto! Quartet and Hot Pursuit Quartet (2017 4th place International Rising Star Quartet). I love to work in a one-on-one personalized setting, because I can better teach students when I know their personality and learning style. I focus primarily on teaching complete vocal freedom and eliminating vocal tension. I am also classically trained on piano and can teach basic piano, music theory, and sight reading, if you want those intertwined with your lessons at all.
