Arabic

Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
I am a native speaker of Arabic who has formally studied and taught Modern Standard Arabic grammar, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing. I am a professor and language administrator at a private university in the Chicago area. I have studied linguistics and teaching languages to learners in graduate school, and my passion is philosophy of language. Not only do I love teaching languages to non-native speakers, but I’m an expert at it so expect quality sessions. My family is from Jordan, but I am experienced with almost all Arabic dialects and varieties. I am happy to assist curious learners.
