Medellin Gran Banda

I went to Colombia to work with the front ensemble percussionists to help them prepare for an international competition with Sound Sport through DCI in the USA. I also worked with them their first week in the US and for a few days of the beginning of their tour. They became the world champions in their division.

I was a guest performer for Funcussion's 14th and 15th annual summer concert at S.T.B. in the Roppongi district of Tokyo, Japan. The group performs school outreaches, at nursing homes and drum festivals in Japan and South Korea keeping entertainment, theatre like performance at the heart and using comedy presenting music through percussion in a very refreshing way.

A New Orleans style marching brass band that plays second line, traditional jazz, traditional New Orleans R&B and ragtime. This band uses 2 drummers, a snare drummer and a bass drummer who also plays a small cymbal mounted to the top of the bass drum.
