    About Michael S.

I attended Northern Arizona University for Music Education. Since then I have taught private lessons for over 10 years in Arizona and welcome students of all ages. I have performed in operas, symphonies, chamber orchestras, and recording sessions, as well as and rock and roll and folk groups. My younger students consistently qualify for Regional and All-State Orchestras and my older students have gone on to perform and record professionally. Whether cello is your career passion or your casual hobby, I believe private lessons are critical to continued growth and inspiration. My goal as a teacher has always been to encourage the student in the direction that he/she wants to go. I believe it is my job to teach, coach, and give you the tools you need to make the kind of music that will make you smile. More information can be found at the locally owned business I teach out of: Instrumental Music Center, www.imc-az.com Please email me for available times and prices.
