Hello, my name is Michael. I began giving private lessons age 17, while still in high school, only offering voice at the time. Within another two years I added piano and music theory to the fold. I started this to help those wanting all the musical knowledge that one could gain, or those just looking to better their skill. My private tutoring and instructing lessons started here in Detroit, and has taken me as far as Las Vegas, NV. I am currently teaching for the Institute of Music and Dance (IMD), affiliated with Marygrove College. My goal remains to provide an excellent musical experience to various students at the most affordable rates and help with the individual goals of my students.

Piano lessons are a "bucket list" item for me and Michael is helping my dream come to fruition. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he is also patient and though I've had several teachers in the past. Michael is the first teacher to explain to me why, how and what. I am truly enjoying the experience and I know that this time I will play. What more can I expect?

I now have the honor of being a part of the Marygrove College faculty. I am an adjunct teacher for beginning piano class (Ages 4-8, 8-young teen, adult), beginning adult voice class, and private lessons (children and adult voice and piano) with IMD, which is connected to Marygrove College. I am loving this experience so much and hope to soon come on board with a possible full time role!
