Hi there! My name is Michael and I'm looking forward to meeting you. I am currently applying for teaching jobs at the college level and in meanwhile decided to try tutoring. My teaching style is geared towards guiding students to arrive at the right answers and developing problem solving strategies. I received a doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology in 2014 and my bachelors degree is in Biochemistry. I have 5 years of part-time college teaching experience with the following courses: Introductory Chemistry, Introductory Biology, upper division Biochemistry (Biochemistry Lab and Metabolic Biochemistry) and Molecular Biology at the University Level. All my teaching evaluations have been at satisfactory level or above. My tutoring experience is primarily with introductory chemistry and helping students during office hours. Most of the time, I start by going over previous exams with students. My research background and graduate coursework makes me familiar with Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology. I worked with metabolic regulation using molecular biology and protein biochemistry methods. Looking forward towards helping you to succeed.
