Piano with Michael P.

I have been studying and performing as a pianist and vocalist most of my life, and am enthusiastic about imparting what I've learned to students of all ages. I believe in creating a comfortable learning atmosphere in which a student feels encouraged to express himself or herself. The student should find the process not just challenging, but exciting. I earned a B.A. in Music at the University of Illinois and was awarded a PhD. in Music at New York University. I have frequently performed as a soloist, and have experience in choral and orchestral conducting. I have instructed private piano and vocal students in both Philadelphia and New York.
