Violin with Michael N.

I am a skilled and passionate teacher with over 10 years experience and a sincere desire to help students grow! My studio is unique in that I welcome all players, from many different backgrounds. A large portion of my studio comprises of adult beginners, who discover that they have what it takes to learn and play violin. I am friendly, patient, kind, and work with students of all ages. I am a performer and teacher with bachelors in Violin performance, and am beginning work on graduate studies. I was trained classically, and also find myself playing within a wide range of genres. My joy in life is helping students connect with music that inspires them, and giving them the tools to play it. I hold a BMU from The University of Utah, with a master's degree equivalency in string pedagogy, which I studied under Dr. Kasia Sokol-Borup.
