Saxophone with Michael H.

I am a 19-year old tenor saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist from Metro Detroit (Rochester Hills) currently attending the University of Michigan to pursue Jazz Studies. I currently study with Andrew Bishop and Adam Larson. Not to mention being mentored by the great Marion Hayden, Sean Dobbins, and Scott Gwinnell. My style is influenced by various musics that include anything from traditional swing to contemporary jazz fusion. To the date - I have performed as a bandleader and sideman in many places: some of the notable being Cliff Bell's, Blue Llama, Detroit Jazz Festival, Michigan Jazz Festival, Solstice Jazz Festival, Bert's Marketplace, Baker's Keyboard Lounge, Kerrytown Concert House, and many others.
