I've played on albums for Bands like Grammy Nominated Bowling for Soup and many others. I can teach very beginners the basics to get started fast. For intermediate and advanced I can teach you how to know and use the entire fretboard in rhythm and solos. Also, from playing professional for many years I can teach you the hidden tips and tricks that only the best of the best know.

I've been playing guitar for 28 years and have taught hundreds of students over the years. I'm fluent in Music Theory and many styles including Rock, Hard Rock, Country, Blues, Classic Rock and more.

I've played on many albums and have had my guitar tracks heard on MTV, VH1, and CMT. I've also been played on radio stations all over the US, UK, Canada, and several other countries. I've played with bands like Bowling for Soup, James Burton, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. I live and teach in Santa Rosa, CA.

Michael is one of the most gifted guitarist that I have ever known, as well as being a very calm and patient human being. His lessons are not just about learning songs, he wants you to learn how to play the instrument, so that you can learn the songs yourself. His knowledge of music will amaze you and he is more than happy to share it with you. I went from only being able to play a few chords to actually being able to play with a band because of Michael.
