When helping students, it my belief that patience and belief in the student's abilities are of utmost importance. With this in mind, I am here to guide you through your stumbling blocks and propel you to another level of understanding that makes things a lot clearer for you. I have experience tutoring students from high school to college level. At different times in my life I acquired two bachelors degrees; one in music, the other in biochemistry. It is important for you to know that I take your education seriously but it can be interspersed with a little humor; not too much, but enough to keep things interesting. In addition to helping students, I have worked as a professional freelance musician and as a research biochemist. Whether it be one on one or in a group setting, my experiences have taught me to be very patient, flexible, and accommodating, I have provided music lessons to promising young musicians in addition to training graduate students. Whether you be a traditional high school student or a non-traditional adult student, my ultimate goal is to help you gain a better understanding of your material with patience and encouragement in a safe learning environment.
