    About Michael C.

    I am a professional freelance upright bassist in the Philadelphia Metro Area. I came to the Classical Bass when I was 17 and fell in love with it! In my experience, I have learned that there are two very important things: Musicality and Flexibility. The music always comes first! It's what I do my best to preach to my students. That means we always need to be flexible in how we learn, trying things different ways. I promise to always be open, flexible and musical and with your determination and drive, we will get you where you want to be with your playing!!
