My first musical memories are jamming with his father Robert (who plays guitar) in a make-shift garage music room in his hometown of San Diego. I soon discovered a love of and fascination with drumming that led me to pursue music as a lifelong passion. In 2001 I received a B.A. in music from San Diego State University, where I studied classical theory, sang in choirs, took every jazz course available, and played in West African/South Indian drumming ensembles. *** Lesson Details *** I've decided to settle down and have made Sonoma my home. I feels blessed to be teaching and learning from students. I strive to share my knowledge and experience in a positive, exciting way, inspiring creativity, individuality and self-discipline. *** Studio Equipment *** The home studio is a room separate from rest of house, drum set, electronic drum set, electrical guitar, digital piano, and seating for parents. Parking is available in a dirt driveway. *** Travel Equipment *** They should have their own instrument, I will sometimes bring a guitar to drum lessons. *** Specialties *** Jazz, Soul, Rock, Pop, Blues, Latin, Funk and 80's.
