I have been a full time private English instructor since 2008, and I've had my global language training company (over 100 instructors) since 2014. I take on private students here, exclusively with take lessons, because it's important to always be teaching and creating more modern curriculum for real progress in fluency. I know what it takes to get fluent, because I've acquired Spanish, French and Japanese as an adult. I know you can improve and reach your goals just as I have. I always call clients before the first class to extensively discuss your goals. I have a specific form we full out together for every 3 months of progress. I have researched this, and it's the most effective way to improve. I work primarily with professionals who need to improve American English language skills and/ or accent for those working in the United States or working with Americans. Also, I can get English speakers to a high level of fluency in Spanish. This includes, slang, idioms, phrasal verbs, professional email writing, presentations, American culture, accent/pronunciation and more. I have created a method, which is a specific way to learn languages, which is the most effective for acquiring a language. I always use RELEVANT articles to read, TV shows to watch, books to read, radio shows to listen to, in order to incorporate English as much as possible in every aspect of the student's life. This is how we learn our first language, so why would we try to learn our second language in a different way? Second language researchers have been saying for decades that grammar- focused lessons don't work, yet our schools continue to focus on this. You want to be FLUENT, right? Writing is easy after that. I have had contracts with Hitachi, NTT Data, Intel, Amazon, Google, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Samsung, Ferrovial, Webber, Bluebonnet, Austin Bridges and Roads, North Tarrant Infrastructure, Trinity, Mary Kay International, and many, many more international companies.
