I believe that creativity is a positive force in our world. It has the power to heal, validate, energize, and give meaning to both its giver and receiver. Music is one of the most beautiful forms of creativity that exists! I'm a songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, and have taught private voice sessions for 10+ years. I've written and recorded 4 studio albums of my own music, and collaborated with a number of other talented musicians, songwriters, DJs and producers in Los Angeles and New York. I've performed live in many venues in NYC and Los Angeles, and almost every state in between. Our lessons are designed to not only help you improve your singing voice, but to help you become more confident as a performer, and more comfortable expressing yourself in a way that is uniquely YOU! Whatever level you're at with singing, we can individualize your lessons to cover everything that's important to you. I believe in supporting and encouraging my students, and making our lessons a be a safe atmosphere for you to experiment, try new things, and not feel self-conscious about making mistakes. My music experiences range from the world of film scoring in Los Angeles, to rock and pop studio collaborations, to performing live and touring, to behind-the-scenes work in digital music distribution. I also have a background in working with people who are differently abled, both individually and in groups, with singing, piano, guitar, instrument exploration, rhythm, and movement. It's my joy to combine my passion and experience with the arts, in order to help others from all walks of life get connected with their own self-expression. Here are some highlights of what you'll learn in our lessons: -Learn how to keep your voice from tiring out or weakening -Become more confident and relaxed with public presentations or performing -Find versatility in your expression -Work on enunciation -Learn microphone techniques for singing or speaking -Refine pitch and tone -Increase your volume and dynamic control -Increase your singing range -Uncover your personal "vibe" for your voice -Develop harmonies -Learn where your voice lies in music arrangement for original songwriting -Become more free and find the joy within your personal expression -Learn tips for working with others in a professional environment -Learn where to place your voice in songwriting for the best musical arrangement

I do project pitches for my company at client sites and Meredith has been incredible at helping me refine my talking points, and has even consulted on my core offering, allowing me to reflect on what’s more important in my pitches, and has overall helped me feel more comfortable in how I’m communicating. I believe she has been responsible for me being able to land my most recent contract, which was huge! I highly recommend Meredith, she’s incredibly patient and understands why I do what I do, and directs me to communicate from that truth, which has helped me immensely!

Meredith is a joy to work with. She has a very relaxing energy at all times, which is key for proper singing technique. Furthermore, she's easy and flexible to work with and has experience across so many different music settings, genres, and skill sets, that you'll end up learning more than you'd bargained for every time.
