    About Mercie D.

    Hi, I am teacher Mercie! Playing the piano is my life-long passion. Growing up poor, I was very creative in finding ways and means to pay for my private lessons. I studied at the Conservatory of Music, University of the Philippines and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I was a piano teacher at Highlands Christian School in San Mateo before I founded my own music school, the Serravista Heritage Center in Daly City and Serra Music in Union City. I gave group lessons on six digital pianos and private beginning and intermediate lessons in both acoustic and digital pianos. The highest number of students that I handled in a week was 200. I held recitals for my students. Now, I give private lessons at my Union City home and also at my students' homes.
