I was taught piano at the young age of 7 and have been continuously studying over the years. With pastors for parents, I grew up playing in church and various events in Okinawa, Japan. After graduating I moved to America and started teaching beginner piano lessons at a local piano store as a side job. My experience working with and teaching children of all ages has strengthened my ability to explain lessons on music theory, technique, and musicality in a clear and concise way. Many of my former students were able to make weekly improvements free of confusion and frustration. I have a very laid back personality and find it very fulfilling connecting with my students as I pass on my knowledge and love for music. For a couple years I was self taught, that is when I learned pop and contemporary piano. There are many forms and styles of piano playing, my goal is to help you find what you like best and to help you improve. I am currently a piano teacher full time, so I am available almost any time!
