I was born deaf, so ASL was my first language growing up. I have a wonderful wife who is also deaf and teaching ASL as well. We have 2 hearing children who have been signing since infancy. Both have been signing fluently. I have taught beginner and intermediate ASL at college, high-school, and freelance work as a private tutor. Occasionally I enjoy doing miming and storytelling in ASL. My teaching skills include basic and intermediate signs, emphasis, and proper and clear signing. I enjoy teaching at any age- young and old. I like to give the students an opportunity to learn a new language and match their needs and their goals. You will be surprised at how easily and quickly you will be able to pick it up. I will be patient and not rush my students. You will enjoy learning a fun new language -ASL!
