Ear Training with Melissa H.

I received my Bachelor of Music (Voice) and Master of Music (Voice) degrees at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music in 2009 and 2011. I have been singing professionally since 2005. Among my courses at CCM were Music Theory and Aural Skills. English and grammar have always been a passion of mine. Having studied German, French, and Italian, I have had extensive exposure to translation, sentence structure, and grammar. I have taken piano and voice lessons for 10+ years. A few companies I have had engagements with are The Greek National Opera, Catapult Opera, the New York City Opera, The Florentine Opera Company and Opera Company of Philadelphia. In Cincinnati, I have worked with the Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Vocal Arts Ensemble, Collegium Cincinnati, Nanoworks Opera, and many others. I have been teaching voice lessons since January of 2012 and have taught beginning piano as well. I look forward to working with you!
