I had my first singing lessons with Melissa and she was really good at making me feel at ease. She helped me reach my goal of successfully preparing for a music exam. My request was slightly different but Melissa accommodated my needs and adjusted her approach accordingly. Thanks to her, I managed to progress quickly and I had the added bonus of having actually enjoyed my lessons.

She was very flexible with my hectic schedule and made accommodations. She helped both of us to feel comfortable and was clear in her explanations and what she needed us to do. She was also willing to answer the many questions we had without seeming to be burdened by them.

I’ve been working with Melissa for a few weeks. She’s a great ally in my effort to learn to sing. As a beginner, I appreciate her ability to translate concepts into practical terms and then give me exercises to apply those concepts immediately. I also appreciate that she consistently challenges me without overwhelming me. She can see what I am capable of, even when it feels like a stretch to me. I’m optimistic that with Melissa’s help I’ll eventually be singing beautifully.

I'm a beginner singer but she works with me and makes lessons structured but comfortable and enriching. I've really learned a lot from her. Highly recommend lessons with Mrs. Melissa. My name is Maryanne Dymond Fiorentino. I started taking lessons with Melissa a few weeks ago. I have to say she is a very good voice instructor. She is kind, patient, and always wanting to help keep improving my craft. She pays close to eye on any mistakes and loves what she does she is very knowledgable and easy to talk to about anything regarding the voice singing and repertoire. I would like to say I give a 1 star to the take lessons online site Melissa and I have been working together on skype which is a zillion times better in being able to communicate.

Ms. Melissa did such a fabulous job preparing me for a church solo piece, Give Me Jesus. She worked with me so much on it, specifically with the dynamics and musicality. She is so patient and kind when working with me, and I look forward to her lessons every week. :)

Melissa has a lovely, well trained voice! She doesn’t sing with strain- she correctly supports her voice! She worked with me for 5 years in our choir. The choir always enjoyed her vocal and anthem preparation! So- not only does she have the talent and training- she understands how to work with singers for the best results. As a retired high school and college choral director, I have the highest respect for Melissa. I miss her!
