Hi! I love teaching and love it even more when my students have fun learning. I have been playing the piano since I was a teen, and when university decisions came about, I made it my life’s purpose to be a pianist. I majored in music performance, with a specialty in Jazz and other popular music (Salsa, bossa, latin, you name it!). I am fully bilingual; I speak both Spanish and English fluently, this means that I can teach you about music in any of those two (the one you’re most comfortable in, obviously lol). I really like to emphasize theory with my students, you know that saying “teach a man to fish...”? Well, I can teach you to play a song by ear, or I can teach you how to read scores so that one day you can do great things and learn a lot of songs on your own. Which would you pick?
